Retinal Photography

Our Southampton practice is equipped with a Canon digital retinal camera to produce high quality images of the back of your eyes.

No drops are needed to take these pictures and they are instantly displayed on the screen for you to see. They are a great help to us in caring for your eyesight and we use the images to check the state of health of the retina and other structures.

They are stored for future visits so that comparisons can be made to look for small but important changes.

We’ll gladly show them to you as well.
