Retinal Photography
Our Southampton practice is equipped with a Canon digital retinal camera to produce high quality images of the back of your eyes.
In Eye Examinations
Our eye test charts are computerised to give us more ways of checking your vision, internal eye pressure is measured using puff-air tonometers, visual fields are screened with computer screeners, and in Southampton we have a digital retinal camera to inspect and record the appearance at the back of the eyes.
With Frame Selection
If you find it difficult to see how new frames look, we have digital imaging at both branches to help you choose. The final selection of frames and lenses is then electronically validated for accuracy and sent via broadband directly to the laboratory.
Frame Tracers
We'll be happy to use your own frame, and our frame tracer will analyse the shape, work out the lens size needed and send instructions to the lab to produce the finished lens, accurately cut to size and shape using the thinnest lens possible, that we fit into your frame a few days later - and usually without you having to be without them.
